De-grease and Relubricate: Budget rails often arrive packed in viscous anti-rust shipping oil. For buttery-smooth motion, soak the block in isopropyl alcohol, let it dry, and apply a high-quality lithium grease or synthetic linear rail oil.
Avoid Ball Loss: The block utilizes an internal wire retainer to keep the steel balls captive. Avoid sliding the block completely off the rail unless it is onto an installation plastic guide wire.
Flat Mounting Surfaces: Ensure that the aluminum extrusions or plate surfaces you secure the rail to are perfectly flat to prevent binding or friction spikes
